The Preventive Care Program for your cat includes a second complimentary wellness exam valid for use within six months.

IVS offers convenient drop-offs, morning and evening appointments 7 days a week.

*The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) recommends visits to your veterinarian every 6-months for the life of your pet.

Certificates expire in 6-months and are nontransferable to other pets in the household

Preventive Health Care

Your pet’s “Health Evaluation” will include:

  • History
  • Diet
  • Evaluation of Life Style and Life Stages
  • Behavior

Your pet’s comprehensive physical examination will include:

  • Dental Assessment
  • Pain Assessment
  • Body and Muscle Condition Scoring.

Your pet’s history and physical examination findings will define assessments made for:

  • Medical Conditions
  • Dental Care
  • Nutrition
  • Infectious and Zoonotic Diseasesd
  • Parasite Prevention and Control
  • Genetic, Breed and Age Considerations
  • Behavior

Your dog should have:

  • Annual Heartworm Testing
  • Annual Intestinal Parasite Testing
  • Wellness Screening

Your cat should have:

  • Felv/FIV Testing
  • Wellness Screen
  • Urinalysis

Your pet should receive:

  • Year-round broad-spectrum parasite control with efficacy against heartworms, intestinal parasites and fleas.

Your pet should have or receive:

  • Immunization with core vaccines in accordance with existing guidelines.
  • Appropriate identification including microchipping.
  • Reproductive and genetic counseling (spaying or neutering unless specifically intended for breeding purposes).

We will establish a plan for follow-up for you and your pet based on assessment and future care recommendations.
