August 2017: We are here for you!

Share on Facebook0Share on Google+0Tweet about this on Twitter

I just wanted to REMIND everyone that we care a lot and have made a commitment to being available when you need us!

Both IVS UP and NP are open 7 days a week and begin our day at 7:00am and close during weeknights at UP at 8:00pm, and 7:00pm at NP.

We are open EVERY weekend day from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays.

We are available by appointment, and via ‘drop-off’ so that we can treat our patients while their ‘humans’ go to work or run errands.

As a reminder, clients can make appointments by visiting our website or calling us. ‘Real’ caring people always answer the phone to help in ‘real time’!

Our Vet and Tech staff are always available during the day to help with even the smallest emergency.

Have a question? Give us a call and if we do not have an immediate answer we will get back to you ASAP-

Just wanted to remind ALL my friends that we are dedicated to meeting the needs of our clients and their special friends-feline and canine, 7 days a week. Please remember that we offer a complete range of medical care services, and also pet bathing, grooming, and boarding.

Have a safe and fun summer! Call us if you need us!

Hugs and kisses from me-Lizzie!

New Addition to Irvine Veterinary Services!

Please join us in welcoming, Dr. Fujita (and her kitty Remmey), Veterinary Extern to Irvine Veterinary Services University Park!

Dr. Kristie Fujita was born and raised in Gardena, California. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and a minor in Microbiology from Cal Poly Pomona. She attended Purdue University of Veterinary Medicine in Indiana and received her veterinary degree in 2017. After experiencing the four seasons in the Midwest, Dr. Fujita is excited to be back in Southern California.

Dr. Fujita’s areas of interest include dentistry and surgery. She is thrilled to be a part of IVS which has an amazing team. IVS has the bonus of being technologically advanced which enhances the practices medical capabilities/experience.

When Dr. Fujita is not practicing medicine, she enjoys hiking trails along the California coast. She is quite the foodie and loves to indulge at different restaurants that create “must eat” dishes. She currently lives with her cat, Remmey and husband, Magnus in the South Bay area. Dr. Fujita, her husband and cat love to travel around the country together. They have visited over 25 states making sure to try all the “must eat” dishes along the way.

Upgrading IVS at a New Location!

Irvine Veterinary Services – University Park (located in the Parkview Plaza) is relocating! We are staying in the same shopping center, but moving across the parking lot. Our anticipated move date is May of 2018. We are excited to be able to grow within the Irvine community.

This location will allot us some needed extra space to accommodate our Veterinarians allowing them the ability to continue to practice excellent medical care and utilize our state-of-the-art medical equipment (such as providing otoscopies, radiography, laparoscopic spays and gastropexies, just to name a few)! We will continue to provide our top-notch bathing, boarding and grooming services for your one-stop practice convenience.

More details to come as the project progresses! Follow us on Facebook for photos and updates, too!

Keeping up with Puppy and Kitten Vaccines

Our Veterinarians and staff are always keeping up on the latest and greatest in Veterinarian medicine. Our goal is to always provide you, our clients, with the most up-to-date medical practices. Dr. Pascucci tells us about our new puppy and kitten vaccine protocols newly implemented at Irvine Veterinary Services.

“It is important to stay up to date on vaccine protocols and recommendations.

We have just updated our puppy and kitten guidelines; they include information from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), the American Heartworm Society and the most recent updates from conferences attended by our veterinary staff.”
