Feline Fans: All the Wonderful Things We Do

All the Wonderful Things We Do

Hello all my Feline Fans Lovers!

It’s so good to be back! I’m here today to tell you about all the wonderful things going on at Irvine Veterinary Services. My brother and I have been spending lots of time here and we’ve got the inside skinny.

First of all – did you know we’re going to be in a new building next year! I can’t wait! New sights, new smells and all the same great people and medicine (like our updated kitty vaccine recommendations listed below)!

We’ll be taking our Feline Preventative Care Program with us too! That means when you come in for your exam, vaccines and lab work, you get a free certificate to come back in 6 months!

Oh and just getting this newsletter means you’ve already come in for an exam. That’s all you need to be a Feline Fans Member and receive 10% off most services at IVS. Pretty cool, huh??

We understand how scary and challenging it can be to get us feline friends to the veterinarian. IVS works really hard to give you tools and suggestions to make that easier. Once you’re here, we offer you a room quickly so the dogs don’t scare you and we have cheese whiz and other fun ways to make getting vaccines a little less scary. It really can be fun!

Convenience is key! IVS is open 7 days a week, offers scheduled appointments, drop-offs and walk-ins. We’re here for everything from your annual exam, to your itchy skin, to your never planned emergency.

Hope to see you soon!

Purrs always,

Mr. Pickles

Healthy Kittens are Happy Kittens

Content: Our Veterinarians and staff always research, take continuing education classes and read all the data to keep up on the latest and greatest in Veterinarian medicine. Our goal is to always provide you, our clients, with the most up-to-date medical practices.

Dr. Pascucci tells us about our new kitten vaccine protocol implemented at Irvine Veterinary Services.

“It is important to stay up to date on vaccine protocols and recommendations.

We have just updated our puppy and kitten guidelines; they include information

from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), the American Association

of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), the American Heartworm Society and the most

recent updates from conferences attended by our veterinary staff.”

Boarding at Northpark

Ever wonder where the best fit is to board your smallest treasure? Why Northpark of course! Rachel, technician at our Northpark practice, tells us why she would pick Northpark every time!

“Finding the “puurrrfect” place to board your kitties can be difficult and intimidating. Having 3 cats of my own, I prefer my “babies” stay in a quiet and peaceful facility where they can have the care and comfort from nurturing and attentive individuals. Working in a smaller facility gives US the opportunity to provide a warm and comfortable place for each of our visitors. We can spend one-on-one time monitoring any possible health concerns, creating individual comfort for each guest and/or patient, and keeping owners up-to-date on their pet’s visit. It’s very important to find accommodations that adhere to your kitty’s needs, and produce as little stress as possible, for you both.”

If you feel uncomfortable with large boarding facilities or you feel facilities are not catering to your cat, schedule a tour of Northpark today! Northpark boosts a small, quiet and inviting home for even the tiniest guest.

Don’t forget to finish that boarding stay off with a bath or groom. Your cat will appreciate going home clean and freshly brushed out and so will you!

IVS Relocating? Have You Heard?

Irvine Veterinary Services – University Park (located in the Parkview Plaza) is relocating! We are staying in the same shopping center, but moving across the parking lot. Our anticipated move date is May of 2018. We are excited to be able to grow within the Irvine community.

This location will allot us some needed extra space to accommodate our Veterinarians allowing them the ability to continue to practice excellent medical care and utilize our state-of-the-art medical equipment (such as monitored dentals and spays and neuters, just to name a few)!

We will continue to provide our top-notch bathing, boarding and grooming services for your one-stop practice convenience.

More details to come as the project progresses! Follow us on Facebook for photos and updates, too!
