Dr. Frances Tiberi was born and raised in Southern California. After completing a B.F.A. degree at the University of Utah, she attended the Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation in 1997, Dr. Tiberi spent four years practicing at a 24-hour emergency clinic in Orange County. She joined IVS in July of 2001.
Dr. Tiberi enjoys treating many “pocket pets” as well as dogs and cats. Areas of interest include internal medicine, dermatology, and pediatric/juvenile care and wellness programs. Along with Dr. Cole, Dr. Tiberi works extensively with Russo’s pet store at the Spectrum to insure the health and well-being of future family members.
The human-animal bond is what compelled Dr. Tiberi to pursue veterinary medicine. “It is difficult for me to say what is more rewarding: when I cure a patient, or when I see the relief in a client’s face when their pet feels better!” Dr. Tiberi has two dogs, “Jasmine”, a miniature Poodle, “Bam Bam”, an Italian Greyhound and two cats, “Henry” an Egyptian Mau and “Junior”, a Maine Coon.
When Dr. Tiberi is not practicing Veterinary Medicine she enjoys gardening, cooking, attending performance art programs and, most of all, traveling.
